My Beauty career began in my late teens when I was working in my hometown pharmacy in the Goulburn Valley. This sparked my interest for glamour luxury products like Estee Lauder, the exciting world of makeup, and skin conditions. We had many customers who were trying to treat acne with what was available then, without much success. Seeing the same customers week after week using the harsh products and antibiotics was frustrating as there was no improvement. In fact the skin appeared to be getting worse. I then studied Beauty therapy at, Madame Korner Academy of Beauty and graduated in 1984.

My first real taste of the industry was with Christine Tully at the Shepparton Health and Skin Care Centre. Later I moved to Melbourne and worked at The Painted Pony with John Grimstone in Hawthorn. I am so grateful to have worked with Christine and John, both were generous mentors who taught me so much about the beauty industry and life in general.

It had always been a goal of mine to own my own salon, and on 12th May 1999, that dream was realised. I have been honoured to have gained clients trust, and to be lucky enough to look after clients that continue to visit - some for nearly 30 years.

I have worked with some of the best beauty therapists in the business, and feel very blessed for the support of all past team members that have been on this journey with me. I am especially grateful after 20 years to have the magnificent Dante, Maddie and Jodie on the team taking care of our beautiful clients.
